Seeking to take advantage of a larger international platform, all but three members of Munger, Tolles & Olson’s deal and finance teams are leaving this week to join Baker McKenzie, the latter firm announced Wednesday.
Consisting of nine partners, two of counsel and six associates in the M&A, private equity, private funds, finance and tax practices of Munger Tolles, the team’s move will round out dealmaking offerings in Baker McKenzie’s transactional-light Los Angeles office, while solidifying Munger Tolles as a trial-focused firm.
