Dozens of lawsuits filed over two matters—23andMe Inc.’s data breach and toxic metals in baby food—will be transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
On Thursday, the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation coordinated the cases into separate multidistrict litigation dockets. In one order, the panel sent 39 cases against South San Francisco-based 23andMe to U.S. District Judge Edward Chen, who already is overseeing most of them.
