Federal agencies have vowed collaboration in a “whole of government” approach to preserving and promoting private sector competition in the industries they regulate, whether in securities, agriculture or international trade.
Touching on that theme Monday, the U.S. Department of Justice’s antitrust chief praised President Joe Biden’s executive order calling on federal agencies to collaborate as the “most impactful document” in more than 50 years regarding federal regulation of the marketplace.
