Kenya is rolling out a nationwide electronic filing system that will put an end to the printing of all pleadings and other court documents by July, the nation’s chief justice has announced.
Although the system was first introduced in a few counties in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the digitization of all 47 counties will create a “paperless environment,” Chief Justice Martha Koome said at the launch on March 8.
