International plaintiffs firm Pogust Goodhead plans to tap into increased demand for class actions in Australia and pursue such lawsuits involving mining and resources, environmental matters, technology and consumer and employment law, the firm’s Australia principal said.
The U.K.-headquartered firm launched in Sydney last month to support its pursuit of an environmental class action against Australian mining giant BHP. But that’s only the beginning, said Amie Crichton, the partner who heads the firm’s Australia operations.
