Former Canadian Prime Minister and senior partner at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada Brian Mulroney died at the age of 84 on Thursday.
Mulroney was remembered by Norton Rose as “a statesman, a visionary, and a humanitarian.” The former prime minister started his legal career as a labor lawyer at Norton Rose Canada predecessor Howard Cate, Ogilvy, one of Canada’s oldest firms and Montreal’s largest. After leaving government, he rejoined the firm, which was then known as Ogilvy Renault until it merged with Norton Rose in 2011.
