King & Wood Mallesons is advising Australian gas and petroleum giant Woodside on the sale of a $1.4 billion stake in its Scarborough gas project in Western Australia to JERA, Japan’s largest importer of natural gas.
As part of the agreement, Jera has agreed to purchase six LNG shipments a year from its portfolio for a decade from 2026, when it is scheduled to deliver its first LNG shipment.
