The Appellate Court determined that an “admission” was not enough to satisfy summary judgment in a Connecticut case with contradictory evidence.

The defendants filed a request asking for admissions. The plaintiff didn’t answer. Under Practice Book §13-23(a), the defendants said the plaintiff had “admitted” due to the failure to respond.
