U.S. law firms including Latham & Watkins, Kirkland & Ellis and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett have larger U.K. revenues than longstanding British institutions such as Ashurst, Macfarlanes and Simmons & Simmons, the latest Law.com International rankings show.
An analysis of the largest legal institutions by revenue in the U.K., irrespective of where they are headquartered, shows 11 of the top 30 institutions are based in the U.S., meaning they have more lawyers in the U.S. than in any other single country.
