Rideshare platform Uber has agreed to pay $178 million to more than 8,000 Australian taxi and hire car owners, operators and drivers who lost income when Uber moved into the Australian market.
Maurice Blackburn Lawyers filed the class action in 2019 on behalf of the drivers and owners in 2019 and this week Uber settled on the class action going to court.
