Defense counsel for Donald Trump have asked the Manhattan judge who presided over their client’s Manhattan criminal case to lift a gag order, now that the former president has been found guilt of 34 felony counts of business records fraud.
In a letter to Acting Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, attorney Todd Blanche argued that his client should now be able to speak freely, given that the trial has concluded.
