Hours after the U.S. Department of Justice and dozens of states filed an antitrust suit against Live Nation and Ticketmaster on Thursday, the companies were hit with a private proposed antitrust class action in the Southern District of New York.
Plaintiffs attorneys from Israel David LLC and Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd argued that Ticketmaster, a wholly owned subsidiary of Live Nation, has “monopoly power” over access to major concerts in the United States.
