Senior In-House And Private Practice Lawyers Gather At Parliament

Around a hundred senior in-house and private practice lawyers gathered at the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday to offer support for a proposed change to whistleblowing legislation.

The event, organised by Lesley Wan, the general counsel of First Bank UK, included speeches by host Dame Margaret Hodge, veteran Labour MP and vice chair of the APPG for Whistleblowing,  Iain Mitchell KC, who drafted the bill, and Georgina Halford-Hall, CEO of WhistleblowersUK.
