Outlining an ambitious agenda of upcoming congressional investigations, the incoming Republican House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer told reporters that ”we are two years behind in oversight” in a Monday news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
Highlighting that he wants the committee’s work to be substantive, Comer—who says he’s been on the job for 10 days—is not wasting any time and has already started to launch oversight and investigation efforts on various fronts. “We can play a huge role in investigating this administration,” he said.
