New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s executive budget proposal includes a judicial security bill that would shield the personal identifiable information of active and former judges, court personnel, and their immediate families.
Its inclusion in Hochul’s proposed budget, a blend of financial and policy proposals that will be vetted by more than 210 lawmakers in the Senate and Assembly, drew praise on Thursday from Judge Mary M. Farley, president of the Association of Justices of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
