The National Labor Relations Board sued The PG Publishing Co. d/b/a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette over alleged labor law violations on Aug. 14 in Pennsylvania Western District Court. The lawsuit contends that the newspaper publisher has refused to negotiate in good faith with the collective bargaining representatives of the newspaper’s editorial, mailing, press and advertising workers. The suit, filed by the NLRB Regional Director Nancy Wilson, seeks an injunction requiring the defendant to bargain in good faith and to rescind unilateral changes imposed on the terms and conditions of employment. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:24-cv-01166, Wilson v. PG Publishing Co., Inc. d/b/a Pittsburgh Post-gazette.
