Nikola is again the subject of a lawsuit in the Court of Chancery, this time for events that occurred within Romeo Power Inc. before it was acquired by the EV manufacturer.

A complaint filed Wednesday by Farnan LLP and New York attorney Timothy Brown brings derivative claims alleging Romeo, a California-based company that designs and produces lithium-ion battery packs for electric vehicles, overstated its ability to meet production goals, earning a fraction of its anticipated revenue.
