New York prosecutors do not oppose a request by Donald Trump’s defense team to delay his sentencing in his Manhattan criminal case to allow for interlocutory appeals, according to a filing made public on Monday.

The letter from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office follows a submission by the former president’s legal team last week seeking to delay the Sept. 18 sentencing until after the 2024 presidential election.
