As environmental and litigation firm Beveridge & Diamond looks to grow across attorney ranks, the 130-attorney firm hired this month Amy Tenney Curren as its new chief talent officer, based in its principal office in Washington, D.C. As part of her goals, Curren said she is looking at talent demands and needs, including for younger lawyers who may have different career objectives than older generations.

Curren, a former practicing attorney, joins from Morrison & Foerster, where she was senior director of attorney learning and development. As chief talent officer, Curren will oversee Beveridge & Diamond’s talent strategy and recruitment, retention and integration efforts, the firm said. She succeeds principal Paula Schauwecker, who served as the firm’s inaugural chief talent officer for the past four years.
