The Washington state attorney general filed a motion Friday seeking the maximum $24.6 million penalty against Facebook’s parent company, Meta, for over its 822 intentional violations of Washington’s campaign finance transparency law.
King County Superior Court Judge Douglass North ruled last week that Meta intentionally violated Washington law 822 times.
