Texas has filed suit against Hyatt Hotels Corp., alleging the hotel chain violated state consumer protection laws by marketing hotel rooms at prices that were not available to the public as advertised.
Hyatt Hotels charged consumers unavoidable fees, such as resort fees, destination fees or amenity fees, in addition to daily room rates, the Texas Attorney General’s Office alleged in a petition filed Monday in Comal County district court.
