A federal judge in Pennsylvania denied Southwest Airlines’ motion to exclude expert testimony after concluding the expert’s opinion was sufficiently reliable and would assist the trier of fact.

In a March 27 opinion, U.S. District Judge John M. Gallagher of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania denied Southwest Airlines’ motion to exclude two customers’ expert’s testimony, determining that barring the airline customers’ expert’s opinion wasn’t warranted.
