LaTouraine Inc. d/b/a Naughty America and Epoch Payment Solutions removed a consumer class action to California Southern District Court on Thursday. According to the complaint, the defendants’ offer of a $1.95, three-day trial membership for an adult entertainment website is misleading because even if customers cancel the membership within three days, they are automatically enrolled into a membership for another adult website and charged $31.95 per month. The suit was filed by Edelsberg Law and Kaliel Gold. Naughty America and Epoch are represented by Sheppard Mullin and Clark Hill. The case is 3:23-cv-00616, Dunn v. LaTouraine Inc. et al.
