A Philadelphia judge has scrapped a defense win in a products liability lawsuit after the plaintiff claimed defense counsel violated the court’s evidentiary rulings at trial.
Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge James Crumlish’s order granting a new trial undoes a verdict Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough won for Crown Equipment Corp. in October, in which a jury found a pallet truck involved in the plaintiff’s foot injury had not been defective.
