It’s gotten harder to be a defendant in Pennsylvania, according to panelists speaking Monday about developments in civil law since 2016. 

In the CLE, hosted by the Pennsylvania Coalition for Civil Justice Reform, three appellate lawyers asserted that recent changes have created an environment in which nuclear verdicts are more common and harder to fight.
