Fresh off her investiture, a U.S. bankruptcy judge said a trend that is not going away anytime soon is a relatively newly modified method for smaller companies to financially restructure their business that could make an economic downturn less of a burden on the federal docket.
“As far as Chapter 11 cases, the most common cases continue to be Subchapter V,” said U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Grace E. Robson, who sits in the Middle District of Florida. “They make it easier for debtors to get through bankruptcy.”
