The Connecticut Court of Appeals tossed out a medical malpractice lawsuit in which a plaintiff alleged prescribed medical marijuana—which he obtained by falsely claiming to suffer from PTSD—exacerbated his bipolar disorder.
In the opinion, set to be officially released Feb. 14, the appeals affirmed a district court ruling dismissing the lawsuit by Richard Lastrina, as conservator of the estate of his son Daniel Lastrina.
