A Manhattan judge preserved a law firm’s claim that Madison Square Garden Entertainment’s policy of blocking attorneys involved in litigation against the company from entering its venues violates New York City’s civil rights laws, but is allowing it to revoke one attorney’s season tickets for the New York Knicks.
Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Lyle Frank dismissed Davidoff Hutcher & Citron’s claim that revoking name partner Larry Hutcher’s Knicks tickets violates the city’s cultural affairs laws, and also waved off the firm’s business tort claims.
