Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has hired longtime Kirkland & Ellis litigator Richard Godfrey, marking the end of Godfrey’s 44-year tenure at Kirkland. Godfrey will be the chair of Quinn’s complex multidistrict litigation practice group, operating out of Chicago, the firm said Monday.
During his four-plus decades at Kirkland, Godfrey spent 16 years on the firm’s global management executive committee.
