The suit, filed by Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein and the Tidrick Law Firm, accuses the defendant of misclassifying ‘shoppers’ who pick up and deliver groceries for customers as independent contractors rather than employees. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 23CV041124, Fan v. Maplebear Inc.
