Legal Malpractice Suit Claims Attorny Failed to Conduct Thorough Discovery

Negrin LLP and attorney Matthew Negrin were sued for legal malpractice on Aug. 28 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. The suit, brought by Ross Law on behalf of former client 5916 S Village Dr LLC, accuses the defendants of failing to conduct thorough discovery and spot issues for an unlawful detainer trial, causing the plaintiff to lose the trial and suffer over $250,000 in damages. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 23SMCV04029, 5916 S Village Dr LLC v. Negrin LLP et al.
