The assailant who was convicted of a racially-motivated shooting massacre he livestreamed in Buffalo had a litany of corporate “conspirators” who prioritized profits over safety, a team of trial attorneys for the victims’ families said Wednesday from a Black church in western New York.

Approximately two dozen defendants, mostly social media companies, firearm and body armor manufacturers, along with the shooter’s parents, were listed in the 170-plus page complaint that seeks punitive damages, attorney fees and relief to fund education and treatment for excessive and problematic use of social media.
