In Judge Pauline Newman’s lawsuit challenging her colleagues’ investigation into her alleged judicial misconduct, U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper suggested the parties resolve their disputes through mediation.
“My first reaction when I received the lawsuit … is that this case really cries out for some type of mediation,” Cooper, who is overseeing the lawsuit in Washington, D.C., said during a remote status conference Thursday.
