Litigator and former federal prosecutor Gary Stein has been sworn in as a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of New York, Chief Judge Laura Taylor Swain announced Friday.
“Gary Stein’s … experience as a leading member of the bar in civil and criminal litigation, together with his legal acumen and communication skills, are solid foundations for his work as a Magistrate Judge,” said Chief Judge Laura Taylor Swain. “We are delighted to welcome him to the court as a member of our bench.”
