Ex-Trader Begins Action Alleging Deutsche Bank Aided ‘Malicious Prosecution’

A former Deutsche Bank trader on Thursday began a $30 million action against the German-based financial institution, accusing it of scapegoating him as part of a malicious prosecution conspiracy.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit last year reversed the convictions of Gavin Black and Michael Connelly, who were accused of rigging the London Inter-Bank Offer Rate (Libor) while working at Deutsche Bank.
