The Connecticut Supreme Court reversed the appellate court’s judgment in favor of the defendant in a wrongful termination case, and defined key phrases used in a statute to determine if the employer discharged the at-will employee in violation of public policy.
“I was pleased that we finally got the result that I thought that the statute pretty clearly mandated,” counsel for the plaintiff, Michael J. Reilly of Cicchiello & Cicchiello, said.
