Carnival, the international cruise line, was hit with a personal injury lawsuit Thursday in Florida Southern District Court. The court action was brought by attorney Robert L. Gardana on behalf of Lawrence H. Ruehl, who contends he sustained serious injuries when a balcony glass door slammed his finger. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-21851, Ruehl v. Carnival Corporation.
