The Law Society of Singapore has elected litigator Jason Chan, a partner and senior counsel at Singapore Big Four law firm Allen & Gledhill, as its new president following the death of his TSMP Law Corporation partner Adrian Tan.
The election comes close to three weeks after Tan passed away after battling cancer for more than a year. Tan, who was a partner at Singapore law firm TSMP Law Corporation, specialized in court disputes involving intellectual property, confidential data, shareholder oppression and class actions.
