Based out of Washington, D.C., Akerman has formed a health care litigation team amid growing demand for regulatory guidance in the health care sector, co-led by Ayman Rizkalla and Noam Fischman.
The expertise isn’t new at Akerman, the firm built the organizational umbrella to house all its members within the space under one roof. And the need for the practice has been ramping up as litigation has begun playing a big role for some of Akerman’s clients in the health care space, Rizkalla said.
