  • The Judicial Nominating Commission of Georgia has shortlisted five judicial candidates for a vacancy on the Georgia Court of Appeals.
  • Gov. Brian Kemp is expected to appoint the state’s next intermediate appellate judge from the list of three superior court judges and two attorneys.
  • The successful candidate will fill a vacancy created by the sudden death of Judge Clyde L. Reese in December 2022.
