For most busy trial lawyers, the work of managing a docket of tort defense cases would seem more than enough work.
But for Johnny Friedman and Shane O’Neill of Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial’s Atlanta office, who regularly serve as national coordinating counsel for clients including Mercedes-Benz USA and United Parcel Service Inc., all their legal work inspired a new venture. Over the past two years, Friedman and O’Neill have spent many of their nights and weekends working on DataGavel, a company they co-founded that’s been developing a torts management platform.
