The 2023 legal tech M&A market kicked off this Thursday. Legal search and recruitment firm Major, Lindsey & Africa announced it completed the acquisition of Hire an Esquire, a Philadelphia-based legal staffing agency, for an undisclosed sum.
Hire an Esquire first launched in 2011 as a lawyer and paraprofessional staffing agency with an online platform that analyzes candidates’ profiles to match them with career opportunities within the industry. It looked to address the staffing needs of law firms and in-house teams.
