Visualize a tower of stacked pieces of paper stretching almost 5,000 feet up in the air. It would look something like the Washington Monument stacked on top of itself eight times and then some. Or a pile of 15 or so Statues of Liberty.

That’s the picture that the counsel for former President Donald Trump painted to the judge in the case of United States v. Trump to plead for a delayed trial date in light of the “massive” and “overwhelming” discovery they will have to review in upcoming months.
