A federal judge in Pennsylvania allowed a product liability suit against Amazon to move forward, after tossing the claims against several other named retailer giants also named in the suit.
Although U.S. District Judge Gene E.K. Pratter for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said she is “raising a judicial eyebrow” at the plaintiff Jamie McKnight’s product liability claim against Amazon, she denied the company’s attempts to dismiss the suit, concluding that the plaintiff had established plausibility through his allegations.
