A federal judge in Pennsylvania affirmed a $625,000 jury award to a former car salesman who accused a Philadelphia dealership of creating a hostile work environment based on age, and further awarded plaintiff’s counsel more than $327,000 in fees and costs.

In an opinion filed Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Mark A. Kearney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania affirmed a jury award of $625,000.01 in compensatory damages to former car salesman and dealership manager Michael Burgo, and against Boulevard Autogroup, doing business as Barbera Autoland, on a hostile work environment claim under Pennsylvania law.
