The intellectual property practice leader of Dentons’ Pittsburgh branch is relocating a seven-person team to Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, the firm announced Thursday.

Wanting to take advantage of Eckert Seamans’ local business relationships and “established” IP bench, Noland Cheung started at the firm this week as a partner-level attorney, or “member” of the firm. Cheung was joined by three lawyers and one patent agent from his prior firm, and he expects two paralegals to follow in the coming weeks, he said.
