Miami-Dade Circuit criminal court Judge Alberto Milian faces a public reprimand following an investigation that determined he inappropriately commented on a motion to disqualify himself from a case.

The recommendation for the reprimand comes from the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission’s investigative panel.
