Dozens of Republican attorneys general and firearms advocates, as well as U.S. senators and representatives, have filed amicus briefs asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review a lower court decision that has allowed Mexico’s suit against gunmakers to proceed.
The briefs are part of an avalanche of support for the gunmaker’s petition for writ of certiorari, which was filed in April by Jones Day partner and former U.S. Solicitor General Noel Francisco.
