Viet Dinh, who led Fox Corp.’s legal strategy in its $1.6 billion defamation fight with Dominion Voting Systems, will step down as chief legal and policy officer at the end of the year, the company disclosed late Friday.

Fox said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that Dinh will receive a $23 million cash payment that includes severance and the value of his unvested stock.
