Frank Brannen is the latest Big Law partner to join Tesla’s litigation department, which has made a string of hires since CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter a year ago that he was looking for “hardcore streetfighters” to fight and file lawsuits.

Brannen joins the electric vehicle manufacturer as associate general counsel of litigation, after spending more than eight years as a partner at law firm Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith.
